My name is Darlene Hatfield, and I have been a member of EMBC for seven years since moving to Maryville with my husband Dale. I was born and raised in Knoxville TN and accepted Christ at 15 years old. I have two children and three grandchildren. Before moving to Maryville, I lived in Knoxville and attended Sevier Heights Baptist Church where I served in the Children’s ministry and as an altar counselor. 

After being a stay-at-home mom for twenty years I had to go back to work after a painful divorce in 2006. With much prayer I decided to go back to school for an Associate Degree in Accounting. I have worked in this field for UT Medical Center for twelve years now. I have experienced a lot of hard things in my life as well as some trauma which God has provided healing for. He has put it in my heart to use those experiences to help others, and it would be my honor to serve you in your time of need.
